Zhou Xiaochi, a born-and-bred Changsha native, drew inspiration from British community cafes during his studies abroad. After returning, he founded "Yuan Su Coffee" beside West Lake Park in Changsha, blending coffee culture with co-working space to craft a 24/7 "third space" for digital nomads. He hopes coffee can serve as a medium to gather passionate entrepreneurs, turning the venue into their office, meeting room, and salon.
Working at the cafe daily, Zhou interacts with numerous innovative startup teams. His cafe hosts 2-3 cross-community networking events weekly, helping young people spark inspiration and broaden professional horizons. Now housing over 1,000 digital nomads, "Yuan Su Coffee" is steadily integrating resources to provide young entrepreneurs in Changsha with a stress-free haven where "falling down is just a step up"—epitomizing the ultimate romance of a startup-driven city.
